Victory Pig Style Pizza (click here for recipe and procedure)

It's always a good idea to start off with fresh ingredients.  In this case, we have tomatoes from the garden but you can use canned tomatoes, of course.

Then you need to work the dough on the countertop.

Here we are getting it into shape so that it fits into the pan of olive oil on the right.

Here it's been baked for about 5 minutes at 450F in extra virgin olive oil. (I've gotten some advice to use peanut oil, which will be the next experiment.)

Now we add the cheese.  We are using Muenster cheese here, but next time, we'll try American.

and then we add some onion and tomatoes.   Please note these are not the correct onions.  Someone  (I won't say who) mistook red globe onions for Bermuda onions.  I had to consult my World Book Encyclopedia to learn the difference!

We then add more tomatoes.

and after about another 10 minutes at 450, we add the final layer of cheese.

And after about 4 more minutes, here is the finished pizza!  And believe me, it was very good!  Not the same as VP, but still good.
