Some people are concerned about the several lines of  distortion at the bottom of the screen which is displayed when capturing from a VCR. It is not a cause for concern when the video is played back on a TV.  It is a result of the head switching on a VCR which gets hidden in the overscan region of a normal TV display.  When you're playing back a video you may toggle TV Safe Zone grid lines ON or OFF by clicking the 'View' menu  in ShowBiz DVD, then click "TV Safe Zone" from the pull-down menu.  This will let you know how much of the image will be viewable on the TV.
