To disable media streaming for a folder

1. At the computer, click Start, All Programs, HP Media Vault, and then Control Center.
2. On the Tools tab, click Customize HP Media Vault.
3. You are prompted for an administrator name and password if you set one up. For additional information, see Editing System Settings.
3. On the Shared Folders tab, click Edit next to the shared folder with media files that you want to disable from media streaming.
4. Clear Enable Media Streaming.
5. Click Save.

You are returned to the shared folders list and "Disabled" appears next to the folder. The shared folder and all of its subfolders are disabled for streaming.

	Note
	USB devices attached to the HP Media Vault have media streaming enabled automatically. If the USB device was formatted using the HP Media Vault Administration Console, you can enable or disable media streaming for the USB device.
