Powering on

Once the HP Media Vault is connected to the network, you are ready to power it on.

Powering on the HP Media Vault

To power on the HP Media Vault
  1. Plug one end of the power cable into the AC adaptor and the other end into an electrical outlet, plug the AC adaptor into the HP Media Vault.
  2. Connect one end of the Ethernet cable to the Media Vault and the other end to an available Ethernet port on your router.
  3. Press the Power button on the back of the Media Vault.
  4. The indicator lights blink throughout the startup process. Once the Media Vault is initialized and ready, the lights are solid blue.
