The 30th reunion took place on September 29th, 2007 and was a huge success!    We  have posted pictures of the event, so please send me your photos if you have any that are not on there already.   I'd like to thank Michael Kinney for taking the initiative in organizing the reunion.  Other reunion committee members included Karen Lanczak Leonardi, Maryellen Finley Cusma, Bevery Yakus Cottle,  Lisa Schwartz, Chuck Brennan,  Paul Reinert,  Mark Hession, and Michael Laton.  And a very special thanks to Bruce Cottle for all of his computer support.

I've always wanted to read this sign at the intersection of Bennett and Kelley Street, but could never see it from across the street so I finally took a picture of it! I won this cool little bus full of candy and a Gertrude Hawk chocolate computer too.  Now I can say this is an award-winning website!

One of the most fun parts of this website is the Weblog because you get to participate.  I've sent out invitations to most of you who provided me with a valid email address and so you should be able to join by following the instructions in that email.  Please contact me if you lost the invitation and need to be re-invited or if you have any questions on how to use the Blogger application.  Blogger lets you post comments from any web browser and you can even go back and edit the comments in the event you want to correct a misspelling or even delete your comments all together in case you write something really embarrassing.

Karen loaned me a 1976 yearbook and many of our classmates figured prominently in a play that year.  None more so than Doc!

You can see a copy of the news clipping and color photo of our 1988 reunion.  It takes a little time to download, but it's worth the effort and the color photo is suitable for printing.   I posted the 22-page memory book we got at the 1988 reunion entitled, " Class of '77 Where are You Now?"

Here is a gem from 1973.  Twenty of the Twenty-Nine 8th grade graduates of St. John's in Luzerne went on the graduate from Bishop O'Reilly.

Are you having any concerns about attending the reunion?  Try our feature,   Ask Sister Heloise for advice.  Be prepared, Sister Heloise has a 'tough love' approach to handing out advice but if you survived Catholic school in the 60's and 70's your skin should be thick enough to handle it.
