Remote access enables you to access photos, music, movies or other files on your HP Media Vault when you are away from home. For instance, you are at a party and have the ideal music on your server. You could log in remotely to download the music and burn it to a CD to share with all of your friends.
Likewise, remote access makes it possible for family and friends outside of your home network to access your HP Photo Webshare from a web browser. Family or friends outside of your home network can also view or upload photos or videos to Webshare once remote access is enabled and Webshare visitor accounts are created.
