Re-installing the new system drive

This topic provides information about how to install the system drive.

To re-install the new system drive
  1. Insert the four screws from the Media Vault system drive into the sides of the new drive.

    2. Align drive tray pins - left side

  2. Slide the drive into the system bay.

    3. Insert drive into system bay

  3. Replace the system plate on the front of the Media Vault.

    4. Close drive-tray handle

  4. Replace the four screws in the system plate.
  5. Replace the top expansion drive tray.

  7. Close the door on the front of the server.

    8. Close Server door

  8. Power on the Media Vault.
  9. Perform a Factory Reset to initiate the drive.
