Deleting a User

Users must have an account to access private shared folders or to access Photo Webshare as a visitor or Photo Webshare Manager. Once a user is deleted, they lose these permissions.

To delete a user
  1. At the computer, click Start, All Programs, HP Media Vault, and then Control Center.
  2. On the Tools tab, click Customize HP Media Vault.
  3. You are prompted for an administrator name and password if you set one up. For additional information, see Editing System Settings.
  4. On the Users tab, locate the user you want to delete.
  5. Click Delete.
  6. Type the user name in the dialog to confirm the deletion and click OK.
  7. If the dialog does not display, check to see if your browser pop-up blocker is on.
